Is it possible to add the sprint goal to the currently runnig sprint? If so, where and how can it be inserted?

Thank you in advance!

There is no elegant way to do that inside JIRA.

If you have Confluence integrated with your JIRA, you can click on the "linked pages" along side each sprint and create a linked page in Confluence that details everything about the Sprint. All linked pages will be accessible from JIRA itself. Will that help?

OK, yes that helps.

Hi Pascal,

the other option is to go back from active sprint board to product backlog and click Edit Sprint in order to update goals in JIRA Cloud hosting.  This is possible in JIRA Cloud even if you have the sprint which already was started and is running.

If you are using JIRA Server you might want to try Agile Sprint Goals add on  which helps to not only define Sprirnt goals but also Show/Hide them both in the product backlog and active sprint goals.

I hope this helps

Eva
