Search for multiple issues via REST API

Vladimir Terziyski May 1, 2014

Using jql it can be done with "Key in (Demo-1, Demo-2, Demo-7), But what if issue Demo-7 doesn't exist anymore? The response returned is "Error 400: Bad request". Is there a way to search for issues by multple keys specified without throwing error for deleted isssues?

I've got a case where both issues ACT-6 and ACT-7 exists, but for a unknown reason, I have a message "An issue with key 'ACT-7' does not exist for field 'issueKey'." Any idea of what could be the cause ?

Hi Vladimir, aparently it does not work in JIRA advanced search either. This is not exclusive to REST API. It seems to be a limitation of the JQL language.

Cheers
