Hello,
I'm using the following solution:
http://confluence.atlassian.com/x/hg26D
(background can be found here: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/22920/ntlm-authenticator-does-not-work-any-more-with-confluence-4-x-probably-same-problem-with-3-5-x )
In 4.0.x I could have two connectors defined in "server.xml": One for the tomcat-connector and the other standard connector on 8090. On 8090 my SOAP-Client was working fine...
Now in 4.1 I had to comment out the standard connector on 8090 so that the standard SSO-Solution by IIS7 and the tomcat-connector is working again (so that all users can login again and use webdav...).
BUT...
now my SOAP-client is not working any more. I changed everything (double checked) to work without port (so on standard port 80) but on "login" I'll get the error:
--------------------------- Error on request with HTTP-Status 401: Unauthorized. OK ---------------------------
How can I get SOAP working again when using this solution?
Thanks in advance for any hint!

I had to use the new "customauth-0.4.jar" compile from december 2011 provided by "Tibor". With the help of this small piece of software I could sucessfully connect via 8090 again to the SOAP-Interface. (and 80 via 8009 for NTLM)
Great! ;-)
