Plug in or add on for a organigram or personnel search system

Does anyone know if there is an add-on or a plug in for an organigram (organisation chart) or personnel search system. I want to use confluence to build a intranet and we want our employees to be searchable in some kind of instagram. With pictures of the employees, describtions of their functions and the possibility to see to which departement they belong.

Yes! AppFusions' Enterprise Directory and Org Chart plugin for Confluence does exactly that. It connects to an LDAP/AD just like your Confluence instance and displays the personnel data. You can download an evaluation version here.
