Planned Finish date field should be display empty when any date is not selected

I need "Planned Finish date" field to be empty. If I do not select any date,

If a date is not seleted for "Planned Finish date" field it should be shown like this in the view screen

Planned Finish date __ __ __(As empty)

How ?

Is this a date picker field ?

If a field does not have a value set JIRA will show it on screens.

A workaround would be to create scripted field with the same name which will check if the value of the "Planned Finish Date" is null and return __ __ __ as a value. If the value is !=null then the scripted field will return null so it should not be shown. This workaround has a drawback that you'll probably loose the inline editing feature in case the value is not set.
