One Jira project per development project

Franz Engel June 22, 2015

Hi,

I have a small team with 7 persons and many projects (projects means costumer projects). We began to create one JIRA project for each of our costumer projects. But now we have a lot of projects and a lot of boards and we began to lose track. Is it better to make one big JIRA project and categorize the different projects by versions and epics?

Thanks,

     Franz

It is okay to have more than one project but you should only have on board if it is single team. Otherwise, there is a chance of losing track of some work, as you already suggested.

Any reason why you have multiple boards instead of one?
