Missing characters when exporting to PDF

Even though, Latvian language is supported by Atlassian Confluence when exporting content to PDF we've noticed that the characters related to Latvian language in the document are missing (please see screenshot). Question: is that a bug or we are just lacking some of the configurations? If it is possible, would anyone describe the way how to enable Latvian characters when exporting to PDF. ThanksAtlassian.png

Hi,

The font used to create the PDF may not support that language. We had a similar issue with Japanese characters not appearing and we had to include our own font in order to PDF Japanese text.
