Jira + Fisheye Development Panel Commit section is missing

JW January 5, 2016

Hi, we're trying to integrate JIRA with Fisheye/Crucible and are having issues. The development section/panel is missing Commits (that links to Fisheye/Crucible) and the issue is similar to link but we've gone through them and ensure they're all OK.

We have a production Fisheye/Crucible as well that showed the commit section initially but we installed a development Fisheye/Crucible to test on a different repository.

Here's what we know so far:

  • JIRA is started before Fisheye/Crucible (will that be an issue?)
  •  Application links have been removed & set up again with no success
  •  Incoming/Outgoing authentication for both Jira + Fisheye is set as default:
    • 2LOAuth is configured (No impersonation)
    • Trusted Applications / Basic Access is Not Configured
  • We can see the Source tab where it shows changes from the Fisheye/Crucible's repository but NOT the commit changes on the panel (on the right) similar to https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Development+Panel+Missing+When+Viewing+Issue

Our JIRA is in production and has official license but Fisheye/Crucible is running on a dev license if it makes any difference.

Jira version: 7.0.0 build 70107

Fisheye + Crucible version: 3.7.0 20150127093303

Any ideas/leads would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

I think development feature is for Bitbucket mainly. As I know crucible can't have "create branch" action, it is only a review tool.

Hey Harry, thanks for replying but that's incorrect, because in our production Fisheye/Crucible (which is on the same version as our development), we could see Commits under the Development Panel. Also, see https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/installing-atlassian-tools-for-integration-with-jira-454361808.html: When FishEye and Crucible (versions 3.3 and later) are linked with JIRA, you'll see FishEye branches and commits, and Crucible reviews, summarized in the Development panel – click on the links to see details of those
