Issue with display of ampersand in field

Hi guys

I don't know if this is an issue with JIRA itself or with stattable searchers, but here goes - you can see the issue display renders the APAC C&S as APAC C&S which is less than ideal.

Any ideas on how to work out what's going on?  We are using scriptrunner to populate the value in the field, and the searcher does work quite happily.  The data is stored correctly in the DB too.[Asia_Pac sQ INCs and Tasks] Issue Navigator - SAM JIRA_2016-07-11_14-05-47.png

this may be a bug with jira, the scripted field code is using & or & ?
