Is crowd capable of 400 user registrations per second

Hi there,

Currently use crowd on a client site and we are using the integration APIs (2.0.3) as part of the user registration and login solution for a fairly high traffic application. Do you have users who are currently capable of doing 400 user registrations per second? What is the largest Crowd installation out there and is it possible for Crowd to achieve this level of throughput?

That would defeat the purpose of having Crowd then. Might as well use the LDAP server directly.
