How to make custom authentication process in CROWD

Noman Sadiq February 18, 2013

Hi,

I am exploring CROWD SSO for our internal application. I want that for authentication i use my already created service rather than creating user directories in crowd and importing my user information in crowd, is that possible?

Thanks

you could use several connectors or build your own

Hi

Thanks for the response.

I am facing a problem to compile the class which implement the RemoteDirectory.I hope you can also help me on that. I am going to implement the custom directory connector for the internal database. As follow the example which is given in the link
https://developer.atlassian.com/display/CROWDDEV/Creating+a+Custom+Directory+Connector

But now a problem is with compiling this class. I am getting the same problem as it discussed in the forum

https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/19501/crowd-integration-api-for-implementing-a-custom-directory-connector?page=1#139380

but the answer there not resolve the imports in my IDE. Even i manually download the jar file from website

https://maven.atlassian.com/content/groups/public/com/atlassian/crowd/crowd-ldap/2.6.0/

Can you please help me on that how it will work and compile successfully.

Thanks in advance.
