How to add menu item on the top-left nav bar in Crucible?

Duy Nguyen August 13, 2014

Hello,

I want to add a new web section with several web items on the nav bar of Crucible (similar to the one available in JIRA in this tutorial). Unfortunately I only found in FishEye/Crucible this item (even though this one is in an old version) which is on the top-right nav bar instead of top-left (in Crucible 3.5.2). May anyone suggest me on what to do in this case?

-- Thanks a lot!

Hi Duy,

Unfortunately that section isn't pluggable at the moment.

You could possibly use some non-api way to add items to the main header (one solution would be having a javascript resource in the atl.general (and possibly atl.admin) context that modifies the DOM appropriately).

If you'd like the plugin point added to the main header, make sure to add a feature request.

Thanks a lot for your answer, Lukasz. It's great to know the non-api workaround to add this item.
