Hello Ravi,

If you are hosting JIRA in your own environment (OnPrem), try these steps:

  1. In JIRA, type 'g+g' > gadget
  2. Click the Add Gadget link
  3. When the Add a gadget dialog box pops up, click Manage Gadgets
  4. Click the Subscriptions sub-tab
  5. In the Add a subscription field, enter the URL of the Confluence instance

If this is a Atlassian Cloud instance, please open a support case (in reference to this answers post) we can assist with adding in the Confluence Gadget to your JIRA Dashboard.

hi Shawn, I typed in G+G on my JIRA Instance and nothing worked , i have opened my dashboard where i wanted to add my gadget and it has a button on the top that said "add gadget" when i clicked on that i see the "add gadget to directory" and "add subscription" and i have added the my link of the confluence instance as you've suggested and it was successful but when again when i came back on to the "add gadget to the directory " with the following link -""; it says the same error . Can you help me resolve this issue ?

I managed to display a confluence page in the jira gadget. when displaying the dashboard as a wallboard the content of the confluence page still gets displayed as black text on white background instead the other way around (like all the agile gadgets do). how can i change that?
