How do you add options for cascading select programatically?

I created a cascading select custom field in java but now i don't know how to add its values.

Hi it's not exactly what you are looking for but once you have the customfield you can use Script Runner plugin to do a bulk values import:

Hi, Script runner won't do what i want to do. Through Java code I want to add items to the Cascading Select when a user add items on configuration.
