How do Automatic Refresh of the dashboard gadgets work in Jira 4.4.5

I don't understand what the Automatic Refresh option on the Filter window and the Activity Stream do for me. I set both to automatically refresh every 15 minutes, however i am not seeing that they do that. What is the driver that will do the auto refresh?

Hi Harish,

The automatic refresh option will refresh only the Activity Gadget spesificaly without refreshing the whole page. I don't believe there is a driver for that. The Activity Stream should be updated every 15 minutes if there is any update on activity.

Time. It sets a counter when you open the page, and after 15 minutes, triggers a refresh.
