There isn't such option in JIRA. But you could use jQuery to hide the subtasks.

I won't suggest scriptiing as a solution. it's a bad hack.

Hi Tomasz

Thanks a lot, I made this by jQuery and works fine.

Mik

Mik,

Could you please indicate where you put the script? Noob here

how did you do it? please share your query?

Hi Tim

I'm using this...( CRM is my projekt)

AJS.$(function() {

window.setTimeout(function(){

if(AJS.$('#project-name-val').text()=="CRM") {

AJS.$('#view-subtasks').hide();

}

}, 150);

});

Hi Mik

Could you please share where you should put script to hide sub tasks ?

Thanks

Hi Mik, thanks for the quick reply and the script.

Where should I put this script?

I tried to add it to announcement banner as:

<script type="text/javascript" >

AJS.$(document).ready(function() {

window.setTimeout(function(){

if(AJS.$("#project-name-val").text()=="CRM") {

AJS.$("#view-subtasks").hide();

}

}, 150);

})

</script>

but sub-tasks are still visible.

Should I add this script to the browse or view issue page? If so what's the form or file name?

Thanks in advance.

Tim.

I've changed the script as follows:

<script type="text/javascript" >

AJS.$(document).ready(function() {

window.setTimeout(function(){

AJS.$("#view-subtasks").hide();

}, 150);

})

</script>

and now it hides subtasks from all projects and still I'm using announcement banner.

Also, is there anyway to hide these sub-tasks from Issue navigator or search screen?

Hi Tim

Could you please share where to put the script?

For example in Atlassian\JIRA\atlassian-jira\secure\admin\views\issuesecurity\viewschemes.jsp

?

Thanks for help

Hi Igori,

Did you came to know where we need to add the script? shall this script works for jira cloud?

Thanks
