This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Connect JIRA Cloud to GitHub
Hello,
First of all, thank you for great tool. I have a small problem with linking Github commits, especially commit message with Jira.
I have these commits (https://github.com/simplifyworks/skeleton/commits/master) with TEST-{number} prefix/suffix, but it does not work as a link. It's a pure text. Is there any chance how to connect these commits directly to Jira issues?
Thank you very much.
Regards.
Felix

hi @Milan
At the time of committing, you need to use <project key>- <issue No> like TEST is the project and TP is the project key then you should use in commit msg like TP-1 # <commit message> then this commit msg will directly connect with that particular issue.
look on this article Smart commit .
