We are using VS 2010 to build a webpage where we would like to display a burndown chart
which would update as soon as the chart gets updated in JIRA.
We tried to import the burndown chart to both iGoogle and gMail by following the documentation,
but it didn't work. In iGoogle we got a message which said that the link was not found and gMail
only searched for labs which was already integrated in gMail.
As far as we know, when we copy the URL-link to the burndown chart in JIRA, we are referencing to the
xml-file which the burndown chart belongs to. If this is the case we should be able to use this
somehow. Though, the question is: how? Do you know how google solved this task or do you have
any tips on where we could start?

It looks like iGoogle is blocking external gadgets. I just tested a JIRA gadget on an OpenSocial sandbox and http://sandbox.opensocial2.org:8080/collabapp/index.html
