Excerpt column is blank/not displayed when metadata-report macro is used

Hey guys,

according to the documentation of the Confluence Metadata Plugin, the plugin should be able to pull the excerpt of a page. Unfortunately, the excerpt column is always blank. Is this an error within the plugin?
