Edit bugzilla importer

We have a custom bug tracker. We adapted the BugzillaImportBean.java file for our bug tracker a few years ago and used that. That was for JIRA 4.2 and we are now running 5.2 and we want to migrate the rest of our trackers. How can I edit the bugzilla import file or how can I use our old one as putting it in external-source/src no longer works?

Where do i put the edited file in a normal installation directory
