Copying comments

Hi all,

I noticed that a lot of users had questions related to copying comments from parent task to sub-tasks or sub-tasks to parent task.

Although this functionality can be achieved using scriptrunner by Jamie Echlin and modifying the code shared by Henning in the links below, there were a few who were new to JIRA API.

So I decided to release it as a simple plugin called "Copy Comments". You can find the plugin here at

It is a simple post-function plugin.
