Hi,

I have a confluence page with some text.

I have a JIRA task in status "A".

When issue is transitioned to status "B", I want to add the content of the confluence page as a comment to that issue.

So, I get the content of the page with REST but it's always HTML text. And I cannot add HTML text as comment.

Is there a way to save the confluence page content to JIRA comment? So to get the page content as wiki markup or to save HTML to JIRA or to convert HTML to wiki markup?

Greetings,

Robin

Community Leaders are connectors, ambassadors, and mentors. On the online community, they serve as thought leaders, product experts, and moderators.

Try pumping the HTML output through sed or awk to strip off the tags.

Ok, I accept there is no automatic mechanism.

I wrote a few functions for replace the most common macros from HTML to markup.

Sad there is no possibility to get wiki markup or to store html comments.
