Confluence installer source code

Where can I found the source code of the Confluence installer? I have downloaded confluence-5.8.15-source.tar.gz from https://my.atlassian.com/download/source/confluence, unpacked it and searched for varfile (as a string in the argument handling code of the installer, which is a valid argument) in every file without any result.

response.varfile is not part of confluence sources. Instructions from page you linked suggest to get the varfile from your previous confluence installation:

Copy (cp) the file .install4j/response.varfile located in your previous Confluence installation directory, to the same location as the downloaded 'Linux Installer' file.

Thanks for answer! I guess the question was easily misunderstandable, I've updated it a little bit. I'm looking for the installer's argument handling code, not the varfile content.
