Hi there,
we want to use the blogpost feature in a space but we will have a lot of posts. The sorting by weeks in the sidebar is not enough for us. Is there any way to have a substructure in days?
The best way would be something like:
Year
month
week
day
day
day
week
day
I know there are some problems with this structure (some weeks are in two months). But a simple month - day hierarchy without the weeks would go along way.
My question is where to find the corresponding source code generating the default hierarchy or if we can even use a plugin.
Thanks for help in advance.

Hi Alexander,
maybe you could have a look at Scroll Viewport: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.k15t.scroll.scroll-viewport
We are currently working on improving the blogpost support, maybe using Scroll Viewport is a good alternative for you.
Cheers,
Nils
If you have many blogposts, it may be wise to work with labels. This will bring structure in your space and you don't need to code. If that's an option?
The other option is to write some kind of velocityhelper or some weird javascript.

One way I found is to use simple javascript and include it in the Custom HTML Section.
You'll have to get all the content of the months by XMLHttpRequest from pages like
confluence/rest/ia/1.0/pagetree/blog/subtree?spaceKey=ds&groupType=1&groupValue=2011
But that is just an ugly workaround.
