Can anyone help me find the Sprint ID? The instructions on this page don't work.

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Adding an Issue to a Sprint

When I open an issue and go to the Sprint field it immediately goes to text edit mode and I can't hover over the value to get the ID.

Which part here is not working for you? Can you provide us a screenshot of what you are seeing? Here's the specific instructions you need to do:

To find the Sprint ID, navigate to an issue in the sprint, hover over the sprint name and look in the URL for the number in the sprint parameter.
