Can I use the 'request-channel-type' in JIRA Service Desk on a chart?

I am using JSD 3.2.1 on JIRA Software 7.2.0.  I can run a JQL query that uses the request-channel-type field, but I cannot add this field to my filter list and I cannot use this field on a chart.  Is this possible ?

I looked for that before as well and it doesn't exist unfortunately. I am wanting to trend usage of portal over email in hopes of seeing declining email and rising portal usage. I have begun to setup Microsoft BI dashboard and plan to see if I can accomplish there. However, this won't work for you as it currently is only for JSD Cloud.

OK thanks for that.  I have actually answered my own question since by creating a custom report within JIRA ServiceDesk that shows the calls created by channel.
