Atlassian Spring Scanner, Component Plugin Type and JDK8 Lambda

I observed that if an annotated class contains a lambda expression the spring-scanner does not pick up the component at all, so no entry is written to the /META-INF/plugin-components/component file.

In case I replace the lambda expressions by anonymous classes everything works as expected.

 

Does anyone else also observed this phenomenon?

 

amps.version:  6.2.1 

atlassian.spring.scanner.version: 1.2.6

jira.version: 7.0.9
