Adding controls to velocity template file

Hi guys,

I am creating a servlet for Bamboo, which requires me to have something similar to controls which appear when a build plan is created. And since its the same thing I want the look and feel similar to what Atlassian already provides in Bamboo

Now I redirect my servlet to a vm page which has the <meta name="decorator" content="atl.general">, this takes care of basic look and automatically adds basic scripts and css which are used across Bamboo. However, if I copy the section of code from new plan creation page which adds the UI for linking repository, it doesn't seem to work properly. Is there a better way to incorporate this functionality?

I'm not sure if that's actually helpful, but we use Freemarker for Bamboo ui, so if you want to copy some code from us, it will be easier if you use Freemarker too.
