Hi Team, we are using Portfolio plug-in and we have assigned a small group of users to "Portfolio User" permission and rest of the users to the "Portfolio Viewer" permission.
we added another group of users to the "Portfolio Restricted User" permission, but the user can edit/update the JIRA issues from the Portfolio plan.
This seems to be there is no difference between the portfolio user and portfolio restricted user permission, please help me in understanding this.
thanks
Vills
Hey, Villarasan
The Portfolio Restricted User applies only to Portfolio for Jira classic plans, as you can see in our doc page: Permissions in Portfolio for Jira.
The reason why your users have this permission but are still able to edit/update the JIRA issues from the Portfolio plan is because you've probably created a Live plan.
To understand the difference between each type of plan, please see our Plans comparison page :)
Let me know if this helps!
Gabi
