Is there a way to view the "Health" of an Initiative in Adv. Roadmaps?

Steve Josue July 19, 2022

We are using Initiative>Epic>Story>Sub-task in our hierarchy. Is there a way to show the "health" of the Initiative in the roadmap view? We are currently driving everything by Story Points in the stories and they roll up nicely, but were wondering how we can show an initiative that is doing well/on time or late. I'm hopeful that some setting/configuration can accommodate this. We are fairly new to Advanced Roadmaps.

Thanks!

Hi @Steve Josue , could you explain a bit what you mean by "health"?

  • Is it finishing by the targeted end date?
  • Is it about burning sufficient story points during a sprint?
  • It it about the issue progress from the epics in the initiative?

In Advanced Roadmaps, you can use 'scenarios' where you set an initial baseline of target start and end dates of epics and stories.

You then create a second "real-time" scenario where tasks are being re-scheduled based on dependencies, resource capacity etc.

This gives you an idea about the difference between the baseline and the actual roadmap.
