I am trying to configure my JIRA portfolio plan using a filter but it is pulling in way more data

Nicole Arney March 15, 2019

I am trying to configure a plan in Portfolio using a filter:

type = Story AND "Parent Link" in (childIssuesOf(INIT-50))

But using the filter still brings in way more issues unrelated to INIT-50 in my plan.  Has anyone had any success using filters to configure a plan?

@Nicole Arney  I am getting this issue too; have an open ticket with support (which is pending with me right now, as I have to get logging details)

The workaround I had was to create JIRA filters (using Epics in my case), and using the Filter as the source for the Plan. Obvious downside is that you cannot create Epics from Portfolio (as they are hidden straight away). I'm hoping that we get the bug fixed soon (when we send our logs over).

Will watch this one in case someone else has found the cause.
