Insight Scheduled Event not triggering

Hi all,

we are using the Insight automation for creating a Jira ticket automatically using a custom-made Groovy script. The scheduled event is triggered using a standard IQL expression as Condition and the Cron Expression "0 00 9 ? * *". As IF-Condition standard IQL expression is used. For then, we have choosen the option "Excecute Groovy script". The script is whitelisted.

We turned the auomation down for some time. Before turning the automation down, the automation was working just fine. Once we turned the turned the automation back on, we experienced the issue that the automation is not working, i.e., automatic jira tickets are not created. Interestingly, if manually run the script (by clicking on the cog wheel and the choose "Run" the tickets are created, i.e., the automation is working.

Do you know what the reason for this issue could be? Have you experienced such issues in the past? What fixes can solve this issue.

The system, is the following (data center):

  • Jira Service Management 4.22.6
  • Jira Software 8.22.6
  • Jira Core 8.22.6
  • Insight 9.1.11
