Why are the tags being truncated for addons?

Is it because tags can only be up to 47 characters in length and any more is trucated?

What if 2 plugins have the same 40 character prefix in their plugin key, do they just share the same answers tag?

We're dealing with the limitaitons of Answer's tagging system right now. The Answers team has plans to improve that in the near-ish future, and PAC will update to take advantage of that (and we'll do our best to migrate old tags).
