The website is sloooow

Why is the Answers website so god-awful slow? Logging in can easily take a full 10 seconds, going to the "ask a question" thing just took me 20 seconds. Submitting an answer may take a full minute.

Something wrong, guys? It's not my connection: I'm on 100Mb fiberoptic.

We did a little investigation. Our sysadmin team said it was AtlassianID interceptors' apache2 process burning CPU cycles, reducing throughput. We restarted it and so far, so good.

It seems to be a little bit better now. It's okay for something to take a second or so, but just displaying a page doesn't need to take any more than that. Not in this day and age.

It does look like asking questions is super slow. I'll take a deeper look.

That's not very helpful, Answers isn't listed on the status page!
