Why can't I manually close a parent when some subtasks are in done and resolved status?

Sometimes in our sprint subtasks and other sub types get released before the parent card. This means they are in Resolved status while others are in Done while they wait to get released. When the parent card has some sub tasks in Done and some in Resolved, the option to move it to the corresponding Resolved status is not available. Any idea why or how I can fix this?

It sounds like there are conditions on your workflow transitions that are not being met.  Have you checked your workflows?

I have checked our workflow. It's the standard jira workflow scheme

Still, someone could have modified it.  Its worth checking for any modifications.  Also check to see if there are any scripts or automation rules that could be in use, or any other plugins.
