Hi, I have a structure which is extremely slow to load or to update (30 seconds or more). Now, it might be due to the infrastructure (millions of issues in the database) and the size of the projects (the ones I am filtering probably have 52,000 issues). Or it might be due to the filter criteria which I pasted below
Does anybody have a hint how this structure could be tuned? Thanks!
It would be helpful to see the actual JQL in the filter since it seems those are the slowest.
Hello @Martin Härri
Based on the screenshot, both Insert generators take the most time when loading the structure. You can try checking if their JQL queries are slow or not - run them individually in Jira search, and check how long it takes to get the results. If queries are executed within reasonable time, then there can potentially be many other reasons of why the generators are struggling: for example, the system can be overloaded in general (this can especially be relevant if the problem is inconsistent and the same structure loads just fine occasionally) or something is depriving Structure of resources.
You can check out our best practices and performance considerations articles for tips in the future. But it's hard to recommend anything specific for the structure in question - we would need analyse your setup first to find out what exactly is causing the issue.
