Creating stories and checklists based on Epic custom field

I would like to create an epic and choose a custom field dropdown. Based on the field, it will generate a few stories with checklists within each story. Each checklist will be different. Since I am using the Checklist Free versions, I am not loading at template, but adding them manually.

Does anyone know what the scripts are to create a checklist and adding the items in the checklist for each story created?

Hi Derrick,

In Issue Checklist Free, you can still use the templates as in the Pro version. Only the number of templates is limited. 

You can also use Jira Automation or Script Runner to achieve what you need, e.g.:

Overall, you can create a checklist by adding it to the Checklist Text field.
