when we add the filter in road map to show the ticket in status category to do and InProgress we see even the done tickets as well.

Just like scrum sprints and kanban releases on a project level, there's releases on a roadmap level as well.
That is exactly why you see "old" and "done" issues.
Luckily for the top managers, their release schedule can divert from the workfloor project release schedule. It makes it easier for them to have an overview on a larger time scale.
so all you have to do is add some top-level releases that make sense to your organisation.
