Hi,
We are currently attemping to perfrom the integration of Jira into GitLab via the development panel(https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/integration/jira/development_panel.html). However, as of now we are running into an HTTP 504 Gateway timeout.
We are using a self hosted Jira intance as well as a self hosted GitLab instance. The latter one is not on premise.
GitLab supports three different OAuth 2.0 flows. For further debugging it would be good to know which of those are used by the afore mentioned Jira development panel.
Thanks a lot in advance.

You shouldn't find major challenges in configuring the integration between Jira and Gitlab. Have a look at https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/linking-gitlab-accounts-1027142272.html if you haven't done it yet. As you're getting 504 message, I'd check if Jira is accessible from the Gitlab server. Also, check if the network configuration and firewalls may be blocking the communication. Another check would be the callback URL and OAuth application configuration matching the ones provided by Jira (you can check the steps on the link I shared).
Spend the day sharpening your skills in Atlassian Cloud Organization Admin or Jira Administration, then take the exam onsite. Already ready? Take one - or more - of 12 different certification exams while you’re in Anaheim at Team' 25.
