Hi,
I have created some tests, have them mapped to my user stories, and included them in my test plan and planned test execution. How do I get the test status to show up on my scrum board like the example below ? Am not able to find the test status setting.
Please help !
Hi @bee
Yes, it is like @Rawan Bardini said, that screenshot is from Xray DC/Server, which in practice is a different App, so it is not possible to have in Cloud the Xray Test Status in the scrum board.
Although we try to keep them as close as possible, it is not always possible to have the exact same feature in both.
Since you are using Xray Cloud it is best to use the Xray Cloud documentation as reference:
https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/
Thank you.
Kind regards,

Hello @Rogério Paiva - Xray Xporter
is it planned to have such an important feature also in the cloud?
Thanks
Christian

Due to the architecture's model of Jira Cloud, where each software/app runs on its one cloud server (Jira is running in a server, other apps, like Xray, run in each other servers), it should not be possible to have this. Having Jira and Xray running on different servers raises many technical challenges and performance issues.
However, please get in touch with Xray Support (http://Xraysupport.getXray.app) to share your use case so that we can have a chance to analyze it in case something can be done.
Thank you.

I received following answer from Xray support:
Unfortunately, due to Jira Cloud architectural limitations, third-party add-ons can't create their own custom fields. Therefore we are unable to present such information on boards.
Believe when we say that we would love to have this feature available; nevertheless, for the time being, it is not possible, and we do not know when this will be possible.
Thank you for understanding!
Sounds like there is not really a plan to implement it.

Ok, will have to live with it then but too bad, it was a really nice feature...

Hi Ian,
I can't see a Test Set Status in the card layout, and no other fields that's close to the description either.

Like I mentioned, that is available only in Xray Sever version from my understanding.
Do you have xray cloud?

From my understanding, what you are showing above in the screenshot is only available in Xray Server version and is not available in Xray Cloud. To display the story test coverage status on the board.
Hoping someone from the Xray team can confirm that please?

Configure Board
Select Card Layout
In section Active Sprints, select appropriate field from drop-down i.e. Test Set Status
The status will then appear on the issue card
