Hi @Viktor Moshkovoy

Yes, you can absolutely do this with Jira Cloud's built-in CSV importer. Since you're on Cloud Premium, you'll need to be a site or org admin to access it. Go to Jira Administration, select System, then in the Import and Export section click External System Import and choose CSV. If you land on the new import experience, select "Switch to the old experience" to get to the CSV file import wizard. From there you upload your file and map the CSV column headers to Jira fields, which gives you full control over how each field lands.

A couple of things worth knowing before you start: all fields, statuses, work types, and custom fields must already exist in the destination project, as you cannot add new configuration elements during import. Since you're importing from another sandbox, make sure the two projects are configured consistently, otherwise the import will fail. Also, for larger imports it's recommended to split your CSV into smaller batches and import during off-peak hours to avoid performance issues, though 300 issues should be well within a single run. Once the import completes, you'll get a migration report and can download an error log if anything didn't map correctly.

Hope this helps!

Hello @Viktor Moshkovoy

@Christos Markoulatos -Relational-  covered the main path well, but just to add a quick tip: 300 issues is well within Atlassian's recommended 1,500-issue limit, so you can easily do this in a single CSV import.

The main risk here isn't the volume, but potential field or project configuration mismatches between your two sandboxes. I highly recommend running a small test import of 5–10 issues first to catch any mapping errors before processing the full batch.

Best,

Arkadiusz🤠
