Can you filter assets bassed on request type?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to filter my list of assets that show up for a asset custom filed based on the request type that is selected.

I have a value on each of my assets called "RequestType" and have types out the name of the request type that i want that asset to show up for. But i cant seem to get the filter scope to work.

Is this possibile?

If so, what AQL would i use for the Filter Issue Scope?

@Trudy Claspill - Thank you for your quick reply.

After doing some more digging around and asking the Atlassian support AI Agent a few questions, i was pointed to this enhancement request and informed that this is not currently possible with the request type.

[JSDCLOUD-16603] Assets for JSM AQL Filter Issue Scope: Allow using the Request Type Field as a Placeholder. - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.

Hello @Jeremy Wood

Can you share with us what you have tried to use in your filter scope? And what results did you get in each case?

Also, what type of Attribute is "RequestType"?
