Trying to delete a type in JPD and getting an error

Trying to delete a type with no connections and there are no items that have this type assigned.

Welcome to the community!

You’re seeing this error because JPD still considers the type to be in use, even if no visible items are assigned to it. A few things to check before deleting:

• Archived or Trashed Items – Items in the archive or trash can still hold that type. Make sure to change their type before deletion.
• Private/Draft Ideas – Check for ideas in private views or drafts that may not be visible in your current board.

If you’ve confirmed all the above and it still doesn’t work, it could be a known cache issue in JPD. Try again after a short while, or raise a ticket with Atlassian Support here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
