Dear all!
I am quite sure this question was asked before but somehow i am not able to find the right page.
Imagine FormA and FormB. FormB holds a field of type Smart Dropdown (advanced) defined as FormBField1 that refers to a field in FormA defined as FormAField1. Now I want to filter FormB according to fields of FormA (e.g. FormAField2, FormAField3 ect.), which are not the field FormAField1 that the field FormBField1 of type Smart Dropdown (advanced) is pointing at.
To show the values of FormA via ConfiForms TableView macro for FormB is clear by the use of ConfiForms Field macro defined as FormBField1.FormAField2, FormBField1.FormAField3 and so on. But it seems not possible to use such definition of the ConfiForms Field macro within the ConfiForms Form Filter Control macro.
Can someone pls give a hint what important step or search promt i am missing?
Best
Stefan
Hi @Stefan Vogt
At the moment the ConfiForms Filter Control macro can only filter by form's local fields - not by fields in the referenced forms
Alex
Dear Alex, thanks for the fast reply.
I thought that such kind of filtering would be quite a common task. But obviously my request is rather exotic. Maybe it will make it to a future feature ;-)
Best, Stefan
