We are using ITRACK for defect tracking. Currently, defects, enhancements, and production issues are created in ITRACK as Type = Bug, Enhancement, or Production. We want to migrate these, but I’ve been told the Jira Cloud migration team supports migrating Bugs only as an exception, and not Enhancement or Production issue types. Is there an option to migrate those issue types as well?

Also, it appears that only issues closed or created within the last six months are in scope per the migration guardrails. Will the ITRACK tool remain available in read-only mode, and for how long?

Hi @hh331w 👋🏻

First of all, welcome to community! ✨

Yes, ITRACK can remain available in read-only mode.

The migration team's rule does not mean your older tickets will be deleted or that they are forced out of the old system. If your team requires the historical data in Jira, you can ask your migration team to lift this limitation, or you can perform a CSV export and import to bring over the older issues manually.

I hope this answers your question. 🙂

Thanks,

Hello @hh331w

I don´t think anybody here will be able to really answer you that on Community Forum.

You should Discuss that with Migration Team.

Best,

Arkadiusz🤠
